THANK YOU!

Hello all,

Wow, what a ride it has been, I’m not even sure where to start.

First and foremost, just thank you all. Thank you for all the fond memories that we were able to create together and experience with one another. The server went through many changes over its life and unfortunately some weren’t as liked as Heebs and I would’ve hoped, but the memories with each other remain no matter the outcome of the server. Heebs and I both wanted to get the server up and running again, back to the way we knew our community wanted it, but with limited time going into our final years of schooling (back then) and with gaining jobs, we just could not commit as much as we had hoped to the server to bring it to life. We know that many players of our community were looking forward to taking it back to the old ways, I do apologise that it never eventuated.

Heebs and I have made the decision to close down the website simply because we cannot commit to this project any longer. I'm lost for words, I know how much this server meant to me growing up and I can only imagine how much it meant to all of our players as well. I still remember learning about the server through one of my friends at school, and then to work my way through the ranks to become an Owner was an experience that I could never of imagined. The server went through many iterations and there were players (including Heebs and I) lucky enough to see each and every side of Monkeycraft developing. Those players, I want to thank for sticking with us through the thick and the thin. The fact that I am still writing this post after how long MonkeyCraft has been closed, shows that it is still in the back of my mind and has been part of developing myself today. It is something that I'll never forget when someone mentions the word "Minecraft" to me. Both Heebs and I have made many friends and we hope that you are all doing well with your day-to-day lives. All I can say is thank you, thank you for everything. We would like to personally thank each and every one of you for making MonkeyCraft what it was, we were a family. 

Heebs and I would also like to extend a personal thank you to Monkeyboys himself, the original owner and founder of MonkeyCraft. Without him, MonkeyCraft could never have been what it was and we all have Monkeyboys to thank. Monkeyboys has created his own server, Advancius, you can connect to it through the IP: mc.advancius.net

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but I cannot stress how much we are thankful for our community. I was hoping to have a photo somewhere of a group picture of a few of us on MonkeyCraft, but unfortunately I don't. 

Heebs and I would like to wish every one of you the best in what the future holds for you.

LMAO i have tried telling Karbzee they just say ok i will look into it and they dont sorry but im sorry to say i wont be joining again

I can't completely remember what you told me, but any problems about staff or the server that do get reported always get looked at as soon as we're available, just because we don't give you a progress report back doesn't mean we've simply just ignored the report. We generally do look into it, have a chat with whom ever the report is about and the issue gets resolved.
Failure is not an option to give up, if you give up due to failure you're giving into defeat.

Well I'm sorry if it wasn't dealt with properly, just keep in mind that as well as dealing with player reports/complaints we also have issues regarding the servers we are trying to deal with more than tiny little complaints. Our top priority at the moment is getting the server back on track, so little complaints/reports may be over-looked if we believe they are not in need of urgent attention.

My Legend rank is gone, my playtime is gone, nobody is on, I check the site, the maximum players today was the huge amount of, 2. WOW. Im so sad saying this but MonkeyCraft is Dead. The only people that really join are the Staff. The Staff have nothing to do but hang around, with other STAFF!
Sad to say but I'm quitting MonkeyCraft. You were all super nice.

I agree. personally I came back to this, I almost thought "rip" from just seeing the posts they seese that and the lack of players, I agree of the cause that the server may be lacking, but ;l listen to your poor karbzees, and really stop complaining, he and brushes are the only ones working within the update, since others have stepped-down for school-dutys, monkeycraft isn't dead, the forms are alive! and trust me when I say the update will be back within the server and yall will be thanking them. I know you probably looked at the recent posts saying it or what not, but I'm just saying!

P.S: I'm just guessing but from the looks of things haxor or brushes has token over role of "server owner" for now, and monkey has resigned for a bit [renember, just a guess its not all right!]
